She hoards tools.
She has screwdrivers,
chisels, hammers, saws,
sawhorses, tacks, nails,
staples and three staple guns,
drills and drill bits, planes,
screws, screw eyes, bolts,
pliers, wrenches, a ruler,
sandpaper, scrapers, brushes…
She has it all in her bedroom.
And when she’s twelve
she’s going to get
her first power tool.
